Being self-employed can be incredibly isolating, not to mention overwhelming. There’s something to be said for finding a community as an adult, especially as a business owner. We don’t have the typical crew of coworkers to collaborate on projects with, divvy up tasks to, or even do happy hour with! The SEC is for us to come together, personally and professionally, to share our struggles and strengths in being self employed.

In addition to our monthly meetings, we'll also coordinate co-working days, volunteer dates, an annual party and retreat.

In the near future, we’ll have a list of member recommended local professional resources here too! This can be your go to spot for whenever you’re feeling stuck, lost, or needing a sounding board.
